Grace was the Jagodzinski family's female Norwegian Elkhound who passed away after a prolonged bout with cancer in December 2006. The consummate professional, as well as master of multi-tasking, she went about her business with quiet determination whether it was in search, conformation, therapy, or assistance. Always a favorite at public appearances, children especially loved to bury their hands in her deep coat. In spite of her illness, Gracie felt well enough to enjoy one last trip to Walt Disney World a week before her passing.
