Dave and his wife Theresa were active in K9 Search and Rescue before they became members of BSARD in December 2009. Dave specialized in Field Support and Operations.
Dave retired from search operations in May 2021, but remains as a dues-paying member of BSARD and is eligible to vote and participate in team functions. During his active time with the team he participated in 42 search operations.
His personal certifications include NASAR SARTECH II, NIMS ICS courses (100, 200, 700, and 800), and Adult, Child and Infant First Aid, CPR and AED.
He also successfully completed all the other courses BSARD requires.
Professionally, Dave retired after many years as a farrier.
