
Linda Perry was a founding member of BSARD and had the longest experience (from the early 1990’s).
She was a Senior K9 Handler who specialized in Mantrailing, Human Remains Detection on Land, and Human Remains Detection in Water.
An ER nurse by profession, she was also a member of a D-Mort team and a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy Reserve Medical Corps.
She was with BSARD for about 10 months before moving south in February 2005 to be closer to family.
K9 Takk Fyrir, Active from 2004 to 2005
Takk was a male Newfoundland and a founding K9 member of BSARD. He specialized in Mantrailing and Human Remains Detection in Water. His name means “Thank You” in Icelandic. He went with Linda in February 2025.
K9 Maggie, Active from 2004 to 2005
Maggie was a female German Shepherd Dog. Also a founding K9 member of BSARD, she specialized in Mantrailing and Human Remains Detection on Land. She also went with Linda in February 2005.
